PTSD Resolution

Armed Forces Veterans’ Mental Health

PTSD Resolution is a charity assisting servicemen and women and family members, over the age of 12 years, with mental health issues following service in the UK armed forces.

Reading Force

Reading Force uses books to bring Forces children and families closer together. Their shared reading initiative encourages families to read, talk, and scrapbook about a book, improving communication and enriching relationships with books and each other – one page at a time.

Turn to Starboard

Turn to Starboard helps serving and retired Armed Forces personnel, and their families, readjust after operational tours and assist them in meeting the unique demands placed on them by Service life.

Thames River Boat Project

The Thames River Boat Project provides highly enjoyable full-day and half-day trips on the Thames for a wide range of community groups. Their passengers are often people who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, isolated at home, or living with disabilities. 

Royal Star and Garter

Royal Star and Garter provides care for veterans and their partners, who live with disability or dementia, in three state-of-the-art Homes and have launched services reaching out into the community, including Day Care, Lunch Clubs and a Telephone Friendship Service.

Naval Children's Charity

The Naval Children’s Charity supports the wellbeing and development of children and young people from Royal Navy, Royal Marine and Royal Fleet Auxiliary families, serving, reserves and veteran, in recognition of the unique situations they and their families face.
