Operations Manager
Ellen Przybylska
Ellen has wide ranging experience in both education and charity finance and management. She is also a seasoned events organiser.

Before joining LWFA in March, she spent 10 years as Finance Manager and General Factotum for fellow miliary charity Turn to Starboard. Although not a veteran herself, she is committed to improving the support available to them.
​
She is based in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Sylvie Fisher
Sylvie brings a wealth of financial experience to Lest We Forget Association having worked for over 40 years with a diverse range of industries. Being a qualified Health, Safety and Management Consultant, she is looking forward to progressing LWFA's growth and prosperity.

She is based in St Day, Cornwall and has a great deal of passion in supporting veterans and their well-being. The opportunity to work with LWFA’s projects is an exciting adventure which she is proud to be a part of.

Stevie Robb
Stevie has joined Lest We Forget Association team after a 28-year career as a dentist — 16 of those with the RAF Dental Branch and 12 in private practice.
Now tackling all things compliance for the charity, this is Stevie’s first foray into the charitable sector and he’s delighted to be doing it back among the wider military and veterans' family.

Chair of Trustees
Shaun Pascoe
Squadron Leader Shaun Pascoe commanded emergency medical evacuations around the globe during his sixteen years in the RAF. He served on operational tours in Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Iraq and has completed several tours in Afghanistan as Officer Commanding of the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT). On leaving the RAF, Shaun set up a charity in 2012 to help military veterans suffering with physical injuries or mental trauma by providing sailing courses and family sailing trips in a supportive environment. Turn to Starboard has helped hundreds of military personnel re-integrate into civilian life and open doors to new careers in the marine industry.
Shaun was appointed Chair of Trustees for LWFA in January 2025; his inspirational and dynamic leadership style promises to lead LWFA into the future exploring all avenues in support of our Military Family.

Stephen Boynton
Steve spent 19 years in the Royal Navy, serving as a Navigating Officer and subsequently a Sea King helicopter Observer. He served on a number of ships ranging in size from Minehunters to Aircraft Carriers. Having left the Navy, Steve has worked in Financial Services for the past 19 years. He has been a Trustee with the LWFA for a number of years.

Barbara Bruce
Barbara is a highly experienced Registered General Nurse with over three decades of service. She began her clinical career in the NHS, delivering patient care across multiple hospitals in England and Wales. In 1997, Barbara joined the Royal Air Force, where she specialised in Primary Health Care, first as a clinician and later through Governance and Management roles. Over the course of her RAF career she served in various overseas tours across Europe, the Middle East, and the South Atlantic.

Wing Commander (Retd) Mike Harris MStJ
Mike retired from the military after nearly 20 years as an Officer with the Royal Air Force. During that time, he has served both in the UK and overseas, as well as completing three operational tours of Afghanistan and one tour during the Iraq War. Mike’s clinical role was as the officer commanding of the Critical Care Air Support Team, the Royal Air Force’s specialist intensive care, aeromedical evacuation team. Their role was to repatriate the most seriously injured patients from anywhere in the World, safely home to the UK.

He was fortunate to have several command roles, as well as numerous diverse staff positions. He had two squadron command roles with Tactical Medical Wing at RAF Lyneham. He was the first nurse to serve in the role of Personal Staff Officer and worked for the Director General of the RAF Medical Services, as well as working at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. He completed his service as the Commanding Officer of Defence Medical Services establishment, Whittington, located just outside Lichfield.

He has undertaken numerous roles with charities, more recently as a trustee for Turn to Starboard, the Forces' sailing charity and he is currently the County President for St John Ambulance Gloucestershire.

Nic Karonias
Nic is a retired chartered accountant. He is also Trustee of a Medical Charity, Almshouses , a school and a Sports Club.

Steve Richards
Steve joined Lest We Forget Association as a Trustee in March 2025. Steve served in the Royal Air Force for 32 years joining as an aircraft apprentice and retiring as an Aerosystems Engineering Officer. On leaving the RAF in 2002, he joined a large nursery chain as their Development Director. He then ran his own Business Management and Systems Development consultancy. Over 9 years, Steve was the founding Chairman and Trustee for the RAF St Mawgan RAF Association and, spanning 8 years, was the Bids and Grants Manager for the military sailing charity, Turn to Starboard.

Byron Turner
Byron is a Trustee and Vice-chairman of the Lest We Forget Association. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, the University of Toronto and served in the Royal Canadian Navy for ten years. Following that he had a career bringing consumer electronics technologies to market as a Director of various companies. On retirement he became a trustee of several charities and an avid sailor.
