Serving Up Memories: Veterans at Wimbledon 2025

 

 

The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) (#Wimbledon or @Wimbledon) has for many years generously given LWFA a generous allocation of Championship tickets for the enjoyment of our UK Forces veterans and this year was no exception. We had 16 places a day for the first 12 days either on  Centre Court or Court No.1 and what an amazing time was had by all - outstanding tennis, kind weather (apart from the heatwave on the first 2 days, which was a little challenging), excellent company and, again courtesy of AELTC , a tasty picnic and a beautiful souvenir programme.
